Why we’re excited about the Kanzo Fast 2.0 at Mule
This is a bike we’re excited to help riders discover: an aerodynamic gravel race platform with the tyre clearance and practical details to take on much more than smooth tracks. It brings together two things we love about gravel riding — covering ground quickly and having the freedom to explore. Whether you’re planning an event, linking local lanes and tracks or choosing your next ambitious ride, we’d love to talk it through with you.
The new Ridley Kanzo Fast 2.0 takes the idea of a fast gravel bike considerably further. Developed alongside Ridley’s professional gravel and cyclocross racers, it combines serious aerodynamics with clearance for tyres up to a massive 58mm / 29 x 2.3".
It’s incredibly fast when you put the power down, but the revised geometry, lower bottom bracket and ability to run big-volume tyres mean it’s also composed and confidence-inspiring when the gravel gets rough.
If you want one bike for fast gravel racing, long-distance events, winter miles and seriously quick mixed-surface riding, this is a very exciting option.
WHY WE LIKE THE KANZO FAST 2.0
Aero where it matters
Ridley has brought technology developed for its Noah Fast aero road bike into the Kanzo. The frame has been specifically shaped around modern, wider gravel tyres, reducing the aerodynamic penalty normally associated with running big rubber.
Up to 58mm tyre clearance
Yes, 58mm. That's equivalent to a 29 x 2.3" MTB tyre. Go big for rough, technical gravel or run something narrower and enjoy masses of mud clearance. It makes the Kanzo Fast far more adaptable than its aero looks might suggest.
Progressive race geometry
A steeper seat angle puts you into an efficient position for sustained hard efforts, while the lower bottom bracket adds stability at speed. Ridley has also revised the fork geometry to keep the handling sharp and accurate despite the bigger tyre capability.
Hidden frame storage
There's a neat storage compartment inside the downtube for essentials such as a tube, CO₂ and multitool. Two padded storage pouches are included to keep everything secure and quiet.
Proper race-ready equipment
An integrated cockpit, electronic 1x drivetrain and fast carbon wheel options make this a bike designed to race straight out of the box. There's even a dedicated Wolf Tooth chainguide and compatibility with chainrings up to 56T for seriously fast courses.
Not just a summer race bike
Top-tube bag mounts and compatibility with Ridley's dedicated Curana mudguards mean the Kanzo can be transformed into a very capable all-weather bike without losing the speed that makes it special.
RACE DEVELOPED. RACE PROVEN.
Ridley develops its off-road bikes alongside the Ridley Racing Team, using feedback from professional gravel and cyclocross racing to refine the details that matter when you're riding flat-out.
The Kanzo Fast 2.0 has also received major recognition from BikeRadar, which praised it as a thoroughly modern gravel race bike.
